Tim is a proven, championship-level soccer coach with over three decades of experience building elite, competitive, and character-driven teams. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education in Physical Education and Health Education from Ohio State University and a Master of Education in Sports Science from Ashland University, along with top-tier coaching credentials from the United States Soccer Federation (Youth National License) and United Soccer Coaches(Advanced National Diploma).
Experience
Over a 34-year career—including 31 years as a head varsity coach—Tim has consistently delivered results at the highest level. He built powerhouse girls programs at Westerville North (26 years) and Olentangy Orange (8 years), compiling over 400 career wins, two state championships, and five regional championships. His leadership and sustained excellence earned him multiple State Coach of the Year honors and widespread respect throughout the soccer community.
Tim’s impact on the game has been recognized with induction into three prestigious halls of fame: the Westerville North Athletics Hall of Fame (2020), the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame (2021), and the Ohio Capital Conference Hall of Fame (2023).
In addition to his high school success, Tim coached club soccer from 1990 to 2017, working with boys’ and girls’ teams from U8 to U14.
